Cafefree Water Systems Inc. is a new water treatment sales and service firm formed by three successful area businessmen at 9470 Ulmerton Road, Largo.
The partners are Bruce Brane, a land developer who originated the Biff-Burger and Gold Crest Chicken fast food groups; his brother Earl Brane, who has developed and manufactured from his own patents in the water treatment field, and Harold Wentz, founder of Largo Motors and Wentz Motor Sales.
Earl Brane has extensive experience in the development and production of water softener valves and timers. The new company is retailing the Condopure reverse osmosis water purifier and Condosoft water softeners it helped develop. They were designed for Florida families with limited space for installations.
